Sati Anusuya Temple/ Ashram is well maintained and situated approx 14 km from Ramghat.
This Ashram and Gupt Godawari can be visited, in one go, as both are situated in the same direction.
At Sati Anusuiaya Mandir, barrier & parking for vehicle is approx 400- 500 mtr before the Temple. It is walkable distance. However, Auto rickshaws also available, who incorrectly mention that distance is one kilometer.
Parking for vehicles is available, for only some vehicles.
It is also the origin place of Mandakini River.
Be aware of monkeys.
Better to carry some cash for Petty expenses, as cell phone signal is issue there. We had seen the people with Bank balance but no cash. So bring some cash for shopping and other expenses.

Among the Auto Riksha/ Tempo, it is considered one of the Char Dham. However, they actually cover only two main places i.e. Sati Anusuiaya Mandir & Gupt Godawari. Other 2 places they cover are Sphatik Shila & Janki Kund, which are enroute, on return journey to Chitrakoot and can't be considered, as most prominent.
It is said that Atri Muni used to go for a bath in the Ganga every day during Brahmamuhurta, but it became difficult during times of illness. Therefore, through the spiritual power of her devotion, Mata Anasuya caused Mother Ganga to emerge from her ashram in the form of the Mandakini.
Lord Shri Ram, along with Sita and Lakshman, had visited this ashram, where Mata Anasuya taught Mata Sita the principles of Pativrata Dharma.
Once, when Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh came to test Mata Anasuya, she transformed the three deities into infants and rocked them in a cradle at her ashram.
