Mobile phones, cameras, purse/ bags are not allowed inside. These days not allowing mobile phones(even switched off) is a sacrilege. Such places should be banned.There is no shoe keeping facility either. Pathetic. I did not enter.

Ram Darshan is a very unique place in Chitrakoot that offers a completely different experience compared to traditional temples. It is not just a place for worship, but more like a spiritual and cultural exhibition dedicated to Lord Rama.

The entire complex is beautifully designed to present the life, values, and journey of Lord Rama through modern techniques like sculptures, murals, light displays, and themed galleries. Each section represents different aspects such as dharma, devotion, courage, and ideal living.
The concept is very well thought out—you don’t just visit, you learn and experience. It’s especially good for families and children, as it explains the story of Ramayana in an engaging and easy-to-understand way.

The campus is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a peaceful environment. Walking through the galleries feels calm and organized, unlike crowded temple areas.
The artistic presentation is impressive, and the storytelling approach makes it more meaningful rather than just a quick darshan visit. It gives you time to reflect on the teachings of Lord Rama in a modern context.
Things to keep in mind 👎
If you are expecting a traditional temple with rituals and aarti, this place might feel different. It’s more of an interpretation center than a religious shrine.
Also, it may feel slightly less engaging if you rush through it—this place needs time to fully appreciate.
Ram Darshan is a must-visit for a meaningful and educational spiritual experience.
It beautifully combines tradition with modern presentation, making it different from other places in Chitrakoot.

Good devine place. It has 3 mandir where ram and bharat milaap happned could have been maintained better. Boat ride is very costly here so be careful and also carry change for donations in mandir

Shabd nahi hain . The gorgeous sculptures, the mesmerizing paintings , the collection of Ramayan and Ramcharitmanas books from all over the world is wonderful . The gardens are very beautiful . The idols of Shree Ram darbar and Hanumanji are so beautiful and alive.
Must visit . It was my second time visiting there. Would love to visit once more. It's just so captivating and magical .

Amazing place to visit and explore. Actually it's a museum dedicated to Ramayan and other spiritual epics. You will see the portraits of many divine events and also all kinds of Ramayan books. Description is written in both language Hindi and English. The centre of attraction is the extremely beautiful idols of Ram Darbar. Notedown one thing, Phones and camera strictly prohibited. Please kept these in your car or other places or to the relatives ones. You can't carry them with you when you visiting inside this place. Currently, you need a ticket of ₹20 before entering to this place.
